Yesterday I had my first sad news. In markets, where food is sold, security do not like me making picture... Eaven if my intention is not to talk bad about the russian food system, I could not let them understand this.
As it is still very cold ,local farmers sell only few fresh veggies at the moment, which inclueds: potatos, carrots, yellow onion, cabbage, and a couple of green rounded roots. In Russia to preserve vegetable they pickle them. From cucumbers to cabbages, from tomatos to apples and garlic (and i guess many others)
When i booked my flight to Moskow was november and I could not eaven think to come right when for russian is the end of the winter. Next tuesday infact is 8 of march, all over the world girs recive flowers. Here in Russia this date is eaven more imprtant, symbolically is the beginning of the spring. Everyone, all around the country is on vacation.
This morning, at Olga's and Tania's home the table looked like this, traditional breakfast: eggs and tomatos!
The atmosfere all around the city was different, you could feel the relax, looking at the faces of everyone.

Baci e buona notte
