Barley Wood, The Ethicurean

As I was in Bristol for the winter, I've met   very interesting people. Jack is one of them! With few friends they are now managing a little paradise  in the countryside.
On the hills close to the city, serve delicious food. Everyone is young and with a big smile. Every little detail, is on the right way. Eaven if it was cloudy, there was an amazing light and the food with it's flavours did the rest!

When It comes to the choice

Albania, Scutari food market, fresh lamb, standing

Marketplaces are radiating centers...They are places of gathering, in which virtually all aspects of life are in play, united in shared space. Beyond satisfying their first function as a place of the exchange of goods, they are centers of social life, of communication, of political and judicial activity, of cultural and religious events. They are places for the exchange of news, information and gossip... In the rich melee of social intercourse the market provides, love affairs are begun, marriages are arranged. Disputes and debts are created and settled, and the market day often ends with a siege of drinking, dancing and fighting.
