Tutto è sempre in movimento.

Markets floating and markets standing, all is fresh.

all is a mixture of flavoures and colors. In the vietnameese markets you can see all the diversity of the country. the diversity of the cuisine is is the result of influeses from the outside, for sure... what is also clear is how this population is proud about tis food and do all necessasry to give products its scope of being sold in a market. As in Thailand, markets are something happening very early in the morning, i guess is a cultural fact... in farming areas people go to sleep early and it is considered normal to get up around 5. this means that if you have a product to sell you want to arrive fast in the market, to be able than to show it to your customers. Usually in the markets you can see almost only woman buying. I guess because food, at it's higest level is a matter of family. And woman are the basement of  a vietnamese family. It's incredible to see the diversity of things sold... incredible to smell the different corners. It happen to see people selling chickens and fishes. The ocean in Vietnam is rich, the land due to the high number of rivers is really fertile and for a crowded country like vietnam is the insurance of a good food security. What is impressing is that in Vietnam there are people everywhere. where there is a street there is a house, a restaurant and a shop. The floating market on the mekong is something that is diffuclt to immagine, boats full of any goods float around slowly and people jumps from one boat to another to make business and exchange their produts. The mekong delta first economy is not rice, as with my immagination i was arriving to thing, but coconuts are everywhere...
Vietnam charged my batteries, its society is easy accessible and everyone as soon as you go out of touristic ruths try its best to let you have an unforgettable experience.. definitly is country where i've left something, definitly i'll come back ,)

Getting up early and finishing is markets gave me a lot. In Hue, as i was going around with vietnameese friend, Huyen, everyone was asking me if i was leaving in vietnam and if my friend was my wife. It was so funny to realize how, for them, was unusual to see a blond guy around at 6 am!!!
I loved Vietnam, and it's people. I loved the meals and the landscape. The caos is all around, the caos somehow has an order!

e poi i cappelli a campana appuntita

this is only the beginning of markets, soon other environments, same smiles, same colorful,  fresh life
